Downtown Dallas is the center of the city’s electrifying urban energy. Stay here for classic Texas steakhouses, late-night live music bars where beats blast out of the doors, and the West End historic district - a shopping, entertainment, and restaurant area with an old-world vibe. If you’re serious about shopping, stay in flashy Uptown, where you can buy anything from hand-crafted cowboy boots to designer clothing. Trendsetters and bohemian artists should stay in Oak Cliff, a chilled-out suburb that sings with vintage clothing stores, ultra-hip cafes, and artisan restaurants. But if you’re traveling with the family, the easy-going green-washed area of East Dallas is ideal.


Prior to beginning this design sprint, we had already created a basic style guide, that we called the foundation. This foundation loosely defined our typography, colors, icons, spacing and information architecture. The foundation proved essential for guiding our work in a unified direction while allowing room for us to individually explore creative design solutions. This way we felt that we were all working together, towards the same idea. Reviewing our collective work at the end of each day, we began to see patterns emerge. We course-corrected when necessary, and started defining our standardized components.

Not all components are created equal. In most apps there are a set of components that repeat often. For us, these components are rows (or table-cells). Looking back, I wish we had taken more time to think about the rows and come up with a stronger set of patterns and components. In the end, we wound up with many different kinds with some inconsistencies.
Designers were also excited about the system. It enables product reviews to focus on the actual concepts and experiences of a design, rather than padding, colors and type choices. The DLS provides us with a shared understanding of our visual style, and streamlines contributions to a single system. This system also enables all of us to prototype and experiment with ideas in high fidelity faster and at a lower cost.
Dallas/Fort Worth – American's primary hub, and its largest hub in terms of daily flights and number of destinations and American's primary hub for the South.[13] American currently has about 84% of the market share and flies approximately 57 million passengers through DFW every year, which is about 156,000 people per day making it the busiest airline at the airport.[13] American's corporate headquarters are also in Fort Worth near the airport.[13] DFW serves as American's primary gateway to Mexico, and secondary gateway to Latin America.[13]

Hosts provide prices and other details for their rental or event listings. Pricing is determined by the host, with recommendations from Airbnb.[7] Hosts may be required to report income and pay income taxes on income received via Airbnb. In the US, homeowners who refinance their mortgages with some agencies are able to count income they earn from Airbnb rentals on their refinance loan applications.[8]
